Arabic Language and the Middle East

Arabic is the sixth most frequently spoken language in the world and one of the most sought-after languages in the U.S. government and military. A foreign language area studies certificate in Arabic and the Middle East will demonstrate your value to employers in both the civilian and military sectors.

Foreign Language
Associate of ArtsThese program requirements are for students who enroll in the 2022-2023 academic year.
Within the overall outcomes of the AA degree in General Studies, the focused elective area in foreign language area studies will help you develop intermediate foreign language skills and related cultural knowledge in a variety of personal and professional settings.
