Develop a Curriculum to Meet Your Needs

The Associate of Arts curriculum incorporates general education requirements, required core courses, and interdisciplinary elective courses. In order to meet your intended learning outcomes, you will have several options as you decide how to focus the interdisciplinary elective portion of the curriculum. You can choose related courses from several disciplines, explore several interests at once, or follow one of seven focused elective options outlined below.

If you anticipate seeking a bachelor’s degree, you should select courses that will advance that goal. You must earn a grade of C or better for a course to be applicable toward a bachelor’s degree program.

You are encouraged to seek assistance from advisors or success coaches in arranging your curriculum as appropriate to your personal interests and future educational plans.
