Admissions
Undergraduate applicants must have graduated high school or completed the GED and earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on any college-level coursework. Graduate applicants must submit an official transcript indicating completion of at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited, degree-granting university or college.
UMGC does not require that you submit official test scores.
For UMGC Europe, the undergraduate and graduate application fee is $50. Go to UMGC Europe Tuition and Fees.
UMGC accepts credits from regionally accredited colleges and universities. Research the transfer credit process.
Classes are enrolling now. While there are three semesters per year - fall, spring and summer - each semester has multiple sessions and start dates from which to choose. Select the start date that's most convenient for you. Find the next session date.
Academic Programs
UMGC offers a wide variety of associate's, bachelor's, and master's degree programs as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates. UMGC in Adelphi, Maryland, also offers two doctorate degrees. UMGC encourages you to apply for financial aid, whether it is in the form of scholarships or federal aid money. UMGC's Financial Aid Office is here for you as a resource throughout the financial aid process. Research the types of aid available.
The only way to apply for the FAFSA is through the FAFSA website, or by applying with the traditional paper application, which is available for download on the FAFSA website.
UMGC offers a variety of scholarships to qualified students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Financial Aid Office recommends you complete the UMGC Scholarship Application in order to qualify for financial awards. Review all UMGC Europe scholarships.
