If you completed your undergraduate degree at UMGC with a major in cybersecurity management and policy, an accelerated pathway between UMGC’s undergraduate and graduate programs allows you to reduce your total coursework by 9 credits (three courses) for a graduate certificate in Cybersecurity Management and Policy and/or one of the following degree programs:
- MS in Cloud Computing Systems
- MS in Cyber Operations
- MS in Cybersecurity Management and Policy
- MS in Cybersecurity Technology
- MS in Data Analytics
- MS in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation
To be eligible for the pathway, you must have completed the bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. If eligible for the pathway, you may be awarded credit for :
- (3 Credits, CMAP 605) and
- (3 Credits, CMAP 615) and
- (3 Credits, CMAP 625)
Please note: If you apply these courses to the master's or graduate certificate in cybersecurity management and policy, they substitute for core courses in that program. If you apply these courses to any of the other master's degrees listed above, they substitute for elective courses in those programs.
