Learn how to report and resolve issues, including academic complaints, ADA compliance, and more.
Not sure where to get help with an issue you haven’t been able to resolve? University of Maryland Global Campus has several resources available to you. We are committed to the effective, efficient, and prompt resolution of complaints of any nature.
Academic Complaints
Common academic complaints may include issues with the course, instructor, or grades. Most student complaints about academic issues are best resolved by contacting your instructor about specific problems that have arisen. If the issue is not addressed through communication with your instructor, then you may contact Academic Affairs at academicaffairs-europe@umgc.edu for assistance.
If you are unable to resolve the issue after discussing it with the instructor and Academic Affairs, you can consult the procedures in the Student Grievance Procedures policy or the policy on Arbitrary and Capricious Grading. Be aware that each policy requires that certain steps be taken within specific deadlines.
