Veteran Student Services

Explore the variety of veteran-friendly student services designed to help our students succeed at UMGC Europe.

UMGC's Office of Veterans Initiatives and Outreach helps ensure veterans receive the resources, support, and advocacy they need to succeed in transitioning after the military, earning a degree, and starting a successful civilian career.

SALUTE Honor Society

SALUTE is a nationally recognized honor society for military and veteran students at two-year and four-year institutions of higher education. Established in 2009, SALUTE is the first national honor society for active-duty military servicemembers, National Guard members, reservists, retirees, and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Visit SALUTE to learn more about becoming a member or contact vrc@umgc.edu with questions. Or learn more about other UMGC clubs and honor societies.

Eliminating Barriers to Success

The Office of Accessibility Services collaborates with the campus community to provide accommodations for veteran students with disabilities to ensure students are able to fully participate in all aspects of the classroom and online experience. Types of disabilities that warrant accommodations may include but are not limited to learning, physical, psychological, and/or medical disabilities. Read more about Accessibility Services.
