Practice Real-World Skills in Your Cloud Courses

Throughout your academic curriculum, your instructors will assign coursework that will help you prioritize real-world skills and experience. Some possible course projects include:

  • Develop a detailed comparative analysis of cloud software vendors and their services, providing a comparative analysis and an item-by-item comparison of two or more alternatives, processes, products, or systems. Compare the pros and cons of the cloud service providers in terms of security, ease of use, service models, services/tools they provide, pricing, technical support, cloud service providers' infrastructure, and architecture model. Present findings to the company owner in a narrated PowerPoint presentation with 10 to 20 slides.
  • Build a cloud architectural plan that a company’s IT staff will use when it implements the cloud solution. Afterwards, build an AWS architecture for a company’s proposed business need, explain the services within the cloud architecture, and make recommendations to the customer.
  • Create an architectural plan that focuses on a company’s specific business needs. The plan must address two of these four categories with a detailed explanation: designing resilient architecture, designing high-performing architecture, designing secure applications and architectures, and designing cost-optimized architectures.
  • Gain an understanding of a fictitious company’s business needs and recommend which cloud service model to use for their environment, which cloud security services to leverage, and how to incorporate disaster recovery into your recommended solution.
