Introduction to the Theatre

THET 110 | 3 Credits

Course Desc: An introduction to the experience of the theatre. The objective is to gain a historical perspective and critically appraise dramatic content in performing arts. Emphasis is on engaging with theatrical performances as informed audience members and assessing one's role within the script-performance-audience dynamic. Assignments include attendance at two live professional performances. Students may receive credits for only one of the following courses: HUMN 110 or THET 110.
