Professional and Career Exploration for Transfer Students
PACE 100 | 3 Credits
Course Desc: (Fulfills the general education requirement in professional explorations for eligible transfer students with 60 or more credits in transfer.) A condensed orientation to UMGC and exploration of how UMGC academic programs align to professional goals and career options. Focus is on exploring ways to develop and enhance career opportunities, becoming familiar with program options, and reflecting on personal goals. Students may receive credit for only one of the following courses: PACE 100, PACE 111B, PACE 111C, PACE 111M, PACE 111P, PACE 111S, or PACE 111T.
Program and Career Exploration in Business

The aim is to become familiar with the university's academic culture and expectations, reflect on one's academic and professional goals, discover ways to advance progress toward a degree through transfer credit and other prior learning options, and explore UMGC's resources for student success by completing assignments relevant to one's major. Students may receive credit only once under this course number.
