Computer Labs
The College Office has a computer with internet access available for students and visitors during office hours. Complimentary computer access is also available from the base MWR Library, located in the same building as the College Office, and at other MWR recreation buildings on base. The Coffee Bar and MWR offer open WiFi.
Directions and Parking
If you are traveling to NSA Souda Bay and plan to visit the UMGC office, please contact the program coordinator at least one week in advance to provide your ID information and obtain a base access number. The local program coordinator can provide a map showing how to drive to and find the base. It is a remote base and challenging to find.
Access for rental cars and unauthorized private cars is heavily restricted. You will have to park outside the main checkpoints and walk onto base, which is approximately 500 meters.
The UMGC office is centrally located in Building 49, in the Coffee Shop courtyard, across the street from the NEX and commissary. The base signage is very visible.
Testing Services
UMGC offers National Test Centers (NTC) featuring exams and certifications in a wide variety of subject areas, on-site support, easy scheduling, and the benefit of instant score results. Available exams include College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST), Pearson VUE, and Excelsior College exams. If you are interested in earning credit or certifications through testing services, find a National Test Center near you.
