Testing ServicesUMGC offers National Test Centers (NTC) featuring exams and certifications in a wide variety of subject areas, on-site support, easy scheduling, and the benefit of instant score results. Available exams include College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST), Pearson VUE, and Excelsior College exams. If you are interested in earning credit or certifications through testing services, find a National Test Center near you. |
Computer LabsA UMGC representative is available at the Grafenwoehr computer lab Monday through Friday from 0800-1700, and from 0800-2030 when classes are in session. |

(Required within the first 6 credits of graduate study for all new graduate students, except those in programs requiring CBR, DCL, or PRO 600.) An overview of the skills needed for academic and professional success. Focus is on enhancing communication and critical thinking skills. Assignments provide familiarity with tools such as library and information resources. APA style and resources are also addressed.
