Emotional Distance Through Fiction: Transforming Truths and Traumas into Plot, Character, and Scene

Workshop Synopsis: This generative workshop will focus on methods for bringing experience to the page and utilizing elements of fiction to craft a story. We will work through point of view and character-building activities to shape the scene and plot, starting with exercises to help us put ideas onto the page and then refine those rough ideas into a crafted story. Pen and paper are recommended; laptops are also encouraged.
