You’re Invited to a Walking Tour

Embark with us on a city walking tour of Kaiserslautern and uncover the history behind who was Barbarossa! Dr. Michael Mulvey will take us on a journey from the Middle Ages through the Cold War with a discussion of German-American relations since the Second World War. The meeting point is the Emperor’s Fountain or Kaiserbrunnen, Mainzer Tor, 67655 Kaiserslautern.

Dr. Michael Mulvey is a historian of Modern Europe with a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael specializes in urban and cultural history. Dr. Mulvey's research delves into the ideas that shape cities and the memories that give landscapes meaning. Michael’s publications explore a range of questions in nineteenth and twentieth-century Europe.
