As a multilingual writer, translator, and scholar I have harbored a passion for words since the time I could write. After all these years, I continue to remain in awe of how certain words put next to each other in a certain order can have such immense power and impact. Language is endlessly complex; it is also the most fundamentally human tool, although it can sometimes seem so frustratingly imperfect for what we are trying to express. I have spent years reflecting on the boundaries of language and how they relate to the human soul and our social condition. My work, which includes poetry, fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting, scholarship, and translations, has appeared with nationally-distributed publishers and magazines and has received nationwide awards.
As a firm believer in the joy brought about by lifelong learning and the power of curiosity to transform our lives, I see the educational journey as a key tool on the path to self-actualization and growth. As an educator, therefore, I hope to light a flame.
Every student brings their own powerful knowledge and skills, which, if well nurtured, have the potential to transform the learner, their peers, and the community at large. Your strengths, passions, and dreams are core to our journey together.
I am honored to be part of your journey
