Professor Bonnie Bayless is a Collegiate Assistant Professor teaching mathematics and introductory courses such as PACE 111M and LIBS 150.  She started as an adjunct instructor and Program and National Testing Center Coordinator with UMGC Asia in 2017 while on the island of Guam.  She worked with all the military branches both active duty and reserve/guard. In 2019, she transitioned to UMGC Europe by going Downrange and enjoyed working with students in our deployed locations. Embracing her desire to assist students in pursuing and achieving their education goals, she then moved over to the Academic Advisor role.  Professor Bayless earned her BS from Northland International University and MS from Bob Jones University.

Her goal in teaching is to provide students with some positive exposure to the subject of MATH as well as establish a firm educational foundation by utilizing the online resources that UMGC has to offer via the LEO classroom. With 8 years of teaching middle and high school math, she understands that higher education can be intimidating, and she desires to equip students to overcome hurdles to develop professionally and personally.  She enjoys traveling, attending cultural events, and getting to know people who like to share about their lives.
