Dr. Andrea Davis is a Collegiate Professor teaching biology, nutrition and pre-med courses like Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology to students who are applying to get into nursing school, medical school and other health professions. She is located in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. She began teaching for UMGC Europe in 1978  as an adjunct and has left and returned several times during the course of her teaching career, with her most recent tenure beginning in 2017. Dr. Davis earned her BS from David Lipscomb University, MS from Abilene Christian University, and EdD from the University of North Florida.

During the pandemic, after stay-at-home orders were partially lifted, Dr. Davis was instrumental in designing safety protocols which enabled UMGC Europe lab students to re-enter our physical lab classroom safely. In addition to teaching, Dr. Davis has worked in senior leadership positions in Public Health, including the state of Florida and the Centers for Disease Control. At CDC, she managed $200 million programs, including 3 years in Kenya working with the US Embassy managing an HIV/AIDS program. She loves to travel and spend time with her family - 2 sons and 2 grandchildren - in Florida.
