I taught German for the University of Maryland in Germany in the 1980’s and am delighted to return to teaching—always my first calling—after retiring from a 34-year career with Delta Air Lines.

Learning a foreign language is one of life's great adventures, as I can attest. It led me from Mississippi to 44 years of studying, working, and raising a family in Europe, all but 11 of those years in Germany. I love helping students start their own adventure and seeing where it takes them.

Outside the classroom I enjoy sports--all sorts--reading, time with the family, and travel. And I still do a bit of motorcycling when I can.
