I am a globally-minded educator who believes in cultivating independent thought through critical and careful engagement with multimedia research sources.
I aim to maintain an interactive and challenging classroom environment that encourages students to apply learning ethically and empathetically to reach clear and high standards.
I believe that student-faculty relationships are at the heart of effective teaching and learning and that such rapport is constructed through integrity, trust, communication, well-planned instruction, and an individual knowledge of students as whole persons with full lives. My research interests involve internationalization of higher education, intercultural sensitivity and communication, and educational technologies.
