I became an English teacher because I believe that the skills of communicating, reading for information, and writing clearly are necessary to all career fields, and I feel passionately about making these skills accessible to all students. I have experience teaching students with diverse needs, and I believe that it is very important to differentiate and meet the learning requirements of all my students.

My philosophy of teaching is to provide relevant and engaging instruction while creating an environment where students feel comfortable and confident.

As a mother of two and a military spouse who went to graduate school and started a career later in life, I know how challenging it can be to meet the demands of everyday life while pursuing a degree. I look forward to collaborating with students and assisting them on their educational journeys!
