I am a retired military officer (Maj) serving the United States Army and The United States Navy. I have been with UMGC Europe since 2017 teaching at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). Throughout my tenure, I have been able to meet many military members and dependents. With my military background and life experience, I have the wonderful opportunity to share my life with them.

My teaching philosophy is quite simple: be friendly, be helpful, be informative, be interested in their lives and be available. I really enjoy my time with the military community.

I also enjoy my hobbies of playing guitar and playing chess. I am an avid reader of psychology and theology.

I am married to my Belgian bride since 2011, and we love to travel as much as possible enjoying our lives together.
