Greetings! I am a U.S. Air Force retired VET. I’ve been a UMGC alumni since 2015 and started teaching business, management and related courses in 2023 for several locations in Italy.
I've spent most of my life in a classroom environment as I also teach English and culture (voluntarily) in the Italian lower level schools and lived overseas as a military brat and active duty Air Force for 23 years. I know what it feels like to be sitting in the classroom and also working full time with many other challenges such as family geographic separation and deployments. Thinking of pursuing my PhD in Education or Management in the near future.
My goal in the classroom is to create an open, relevant and dynamic learning environment where all students feel challenged, welcomed and appreciated. You can never stop learning and you learn even more in a well diverse environment as each of us with various backgrounds bring something to the table.
Outside the classroom, I love to travel with family and friends, learn new cultures and languages and eat almost anything! I love sports (American and European football/Basketball), dancing and music.
