Greetings! I am a U.S. Air Force retired VET. I’ve been a UMGC alumni since 2015 and started teaching business, management, and related courses in 2023 for several locations in Italy.
I've spent most of my life in a classroom environment, teaching English and culture (voluntarily) in Italian lower-level schools. I have lived overseas as a military brat and on active duty in the Air Force for 23 years. I know what it feels like to be sitting in the classroom and also working full time with many other challenges, such as family geographic separation and deployments. Thinking of pursuing my PhD in Education or Management in the near future.
My goal in the classroom is to create an open, relevant, and dynamic learning environment where all students feel challenged, welcomed, and appreciated. You can never stop learning, and you learn even more in a well-diverse environment as each of us with various backgrounds brings something to the table.
Outside the classroom, I love to travel with family and friends, learn new cultures and languages, and eat almost anything! I love sports (American and European football/Basketball), dancing and music.
