I started teaching with the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) in Asia in March 2022, as an Adjunct Instructor in Okinawa, Japan.

My personal affiliation includes Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society.

In August, 2023, I transferred to UMGC Europe in Kaiserslautern, Germany. I am a proponent of teaching in the spirit of excellence. This entails cultivating a supportive and engaging learning environment that values students' individual perspectives and experiences, as well as promoting Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and professionalism. I support mutual respect and open dialogue among students and colleagues from various real-world and educational perspectives.

I enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight motorcycle, strength training, climbing Mt. Fuji and visiting the Hokkaido snow festival, exploring European and Asian culture, learning the bass guitar, practicing judo, and taking golf lessons. Additional personal interests include being proficient in the Japanese language of speaking, reading, and writing; Microsoft PowerBi; and Lean Six Sigma.
