Greetings!
I have been an instructor with UMGC since 2013 in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. I am also the Past President of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences – 2016-2017.
I thoroughly enjoy having the ability to share my knowledge and experience with my students. I always ensure my classes are interesting, informative, and bring reality to each topic discussed.
As a Special Agent, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) for 32 years, I investigated, reviewed and consulted on high-interest investigations throughout AFOSI’s global mission.
I spent over three years with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) investigating atrocities of crimes against humanity in the Former Yugoslavia. Those investigations culminated in the exhumations of numerous mass graves which provided critical evidence of genocide and brought closure to the victim’s loved ones.
My hobby is golf. It is exhilarating and humbling. My life philosophy is simple: Control what you can and adjust to what you can’t and always keep your cup half full.
I have spent my entire investigative career ensuring the latest innovations in criminal justice and the forensic sciences were applied to investigations. My dedication to learning is contagious. Join me and become infected with knowledge.
