Hello! I am an adjunct Professor and have been teaching at UMGC since 2020.

I am a retired Air Force Veteran with 27 years of military service. Passionate about mentoring and fostering success, I am dedicated to teaching PACE 111, CAPL 398, and LIBS 150. I love these foundational courses because they are pivotal in setting learners on a path to success in their educational and career pursuits. In the classroom, you can expect me to foster a growth mindset as I challenge you to view challenges as opportunities for learning and growth.

As a staff member at UMGC for the past six years, I have been an active member of the Europe Staff Advisory Committee, committed to being a positive force for change within the University. In the community, I volunteer with the USO and mentor children at my local church, in hopes of giving back to communities like they did for me in my earlier years.

At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband Lawrence and our pups. I also love gardening, traveling and cherishing the small moments and God's blessings.
