I have been working with UMGC since 2009. I teach Biology, Nutrition and Biological Sciences like Human Health and Diseases, Human Biology, Biology of Cancer, Anatomy & Physiology& Microbiology
I began my career as a Microbiology, Immunology, and Biochemistry Lecturer. I have also worked as a Clinical Microbiologist and as a researcher. As a PhD scholar, I have experience in gene analysis and pioneering methods to combat bacterial resistance. I’m currently researching bacterial bioremediation and the detoxification of recalcitrant effluents.
I am deeply passionate about exploring the realms of Naturopathy in Holistic nutrition and the complex interactions of gut microbiota.
I am driven to teach by my passion for learning and the profound sense of satisfaction I derive from positively influencing the lives of my students. I embrace an analytical and inductive approach to teaching, prioritizing the development of a strong instructor-student relationship.
I’m passionate about bringing colors to life through painting and crafting, expressing myself through dance, and losing myself in the rhythm of the music.
