Professor Christopher (Chris) Klimovitz has taught with UMGC since 2022. He teaches International Relations, PACE, and LIBS in the United Kingdom. Chris particularly focuses on American, Russian, and European foreign policy and histories. Chris has a slogan that history does not repeat, but it rhymes.

How we learn about history and geopolitics are intertwined, especially for a military audience. Chris also has a teaching philosophy around promoting research methods to assist students to better understand the world around them and to find academic literature.

Chris also enjoys learning about and teaching about folklore in academia. He has been featured as a guest on positive skepticism podcasts about folklore in the UK and Southeastern/Eastern Europe. He also loves to travel, enjoys reading literature from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, and is a fan of rock, metal, and classical music.
