I’m a proud veteran of the U.S. military with a passion for travel, learning, and understanding the complexities of life. My military service allowed me to experience diverse cultures and perspectives, which I bring into the classroom to foster a global mindset. I believe that education should be a journey of discovery. I strive to create a supportive environment where students can think critically, ask questions, and grow academically and personally.
At UMGC, I’m excited to be part of a community that values lifelong learning and diverse experiences. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education goes beyond the classroom—it’s about developing the tools to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Outside of teaching, I love traveling, reading, and seeking new experiences. I’m eager to share my military background and global perspective with my students, helping them connect their experiences to the subjects we explore.
