I serve as graduate faculty in the UMGC Europe MBA program, where I teach Business Analytics, Accounting for Managers, Financial Management, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Since joining UMGC, my focus has been simple: help students move beyond formulas and build real decision-making confidence.
Before entering academia, I spent over 15 years in senior leadership and financial strategy roles across government and corporate environments, including the Department of Defense and the financial services industry. That experience shapes how I teach. I care less about memorizing equations and more about understanding what the numbers actually mean for leaders.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity and application. I design courses that assume no prior technical background while maintaining high academic standards. I believe complex concepts become manageable when they are structured, practiced, and connected to real-world scenarios. In my classroom, we analyze, interpret, debate, and apply.
I am passionate about mentoring students who may feel intimidated by finance or analytics and helping them discover they are more capable than they think.
Outside the classroom, I maintain advanced financial certifications and continue exploring how AI can responsibly support learning and professional growth.
