I am an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Europe, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business, management, marketing, human resource management, and project management. My courses emphasize practical decision-making, data-informed problem solving, and leadership, helping students apply concepts directly to real-world challenges.
In my professional role, I serve as a project manager supporting U.S. Army innovation at the point of need, leading programs that enable rapid prototyping, applied research, and operational problem solving. My work focuses on bridging the gap between emerging technologies and real-world applications, helping teams turn ideas into functional solutions.
I bring over 25 years of Army leadership experience, 16 years of project management experience, and more than a decade of program management experience leading complex initiatives. I earned my bachelor’s degree and MBA while serving on active duty, balancing education with professional and personal responsibilities as an adult learner. That experience shapes my approach to teaching, and I strive to create a supportive and practical learning environment.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling with my wife and exploring new places and cultures. I also enjoy hiking and recently discovered an interest in skiing after trying it for the first time this year.
