Born and raised in Western India, I grew up multilingual and I love learning new languages. My professional experience ranges from teaching & training, research, mental health services as well consultancy. I worked in the area of Mental health research in India with government as well as Non-government agencies and projects. At SUNY Buffalo, I extended my experience in Special education and school mental health as a Fulbright Fellow. Following my move to Germany, I started working with UMGC in 2017 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

I have worked in schools as well as universities, teaching psychology in India as well as Europe. For UMGC Europe, I teach at Wiesbaden, Rammstein as well for downrange locations in person and/or remotely. Apart from teaching courses in core psychology, I also teach courses in Business management at UMGC. At other European educational institutions, I teach courses or workshops in other specialities, focusing on the psychological applications. For example, application of psychology in Pedagogy, Organizational environment, IT, AI, Cybersecurity, Designing & architecture and DEI.

I believe I am a life long learner and love learning new things. This is the foundation of my teaching

philosophy. My favorite part about being an educator is how lit my brain is after I interact with my

students. I view my classroom as a learning experience not just for my students but also for myself as they bring a myriad of ideas, experiences and interpretations, enhancing and evolving the quality of class content with each interaction.

I love puzzles, especially solving the weekly/daily crossword. I share this with my students as well through crossword puzzles I develop specifically for my class content.
